I&C Energo, a founding member of CPIA, will execute a contract for ČEZ for the reconstruction of the early warning system in the emergency planning zone of the Dukovany NPP.
The purpose of the project is to ensure reliable warning of the population in the event of an emergency in the emergency planning zone (EPZ) of NPP Dukovany, which is a 20 km radius from the plant.
The existing rotating sirens without backup power supply, without the possibility of verbal information and back diagnostics of functionality will be supplemented and replaced with modern electronic sirens meeting the current technical requirements of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic.
The new sirens will fulfil all the functions that the existing ones lack, including the connection of the new terminal elements to the unified warning and notification system and the transmission of back diagnostics. The electronic sirens will be supplied by WARNING SYSTEMS and Telegrafia.
